Mantras are holy scriptures written in Sanskrit, the oldest language in India. A Mantra is a combination of sacred syllables, which together form a core of spiritual energy. This energy functions as a magnet, which attracts and bundles spiritual vibrations. The "man" part of mantra means "to think" in Sanskrit. "Tra" is derived from "Trai" and denotes "protection against" or "liberation".
Mantra is an Indian specialty restaurant with a cosy atmosphere and seats 35 guests. During summer we have a lovely terrace to accommodate another 20 guests.
Mousumi, hostess of Mantra, has worked in India in one of the finest 5 star Indian hotels, the Taj Mahal Palace & Tower Hotel. Afterwards, she worked as teacher in the catering management institute.
Partha, your host, got his degree in Business Management in England and has 20 years of experience in catering management. After running another restaurant for 18 years, it was time for another challenge. A new restaurant, Indian Restaurant Mantra.
Located between Jansstraat and Jansplein in the centre of Arnhem, Mantra offers a variety of tasty Indian dishes from different regions of India. Indian dishes needn't be spicy and our team is always ready to cater our guests’ personal wishes.
